Genuine Handwoven Vintage Anatolian Turkish Kilim / Rug - LARGE - 100% Wool / 1970s in Seven Sisters, Neath Port Talbot for sale
A genuine, vintage Anatolian Kilim rug. It is excellent quality. 100% wool and is in great condition. Made between 1975 and 1985. The kilim has lovely colours and beautiful detailed patterns, as you can see from the pictures. It is very big so suitable for a large room. Dimensions: Length: 132 inches (336 cm) Width: 82.5 inches (209.25 cm) I purchased this myself from the Bellihan showroom in Istanbul last year. I will include the certificate of authenticity from Bellihan. It has been stored in a smoke and pet free house and has been professionally cleaned before sale, which cost £150. There are a couple of light, minor stains which are hardly visible. I'm sure they could be removed, but I'm reluctant to try in case it damages the rug. It's been folded up, as you can see from the picture, but these creases will obviously go once it's laid out for a couple of days. You won't find a kilim of this quality cheaper in the UK, so grab yourself a bargain. I'm asking for what I paid for it (after a hard bargain with the shop owner!).
